Grange Farm Copston

Karen and Clifford Morton run their soft fruit pick-your-own from their family farm near Nuneaton, Hinckley and Lutterworth.  The highly successful pick your own business was established in the 1970s and is firmly established on the map for days out and things to do in the locality.

PS Web Design constructed Grange Farm’s original and very basic website way back in 2010; and websites back then were not responsive for mobiles and tablets.  In good time for the 2017 picking season, Karen asked us to bring the site bang up to date with a complete rebuild which would also give us the opportunity to make it fully responsive too.

On her new site Karen wanted to provide far more real time information about which crop is available to pick at any one time by incorporating a ‘ticker tape’ and calendar, provide information about picking procedures, pricing and weighing, include a full list of fruit varieties, and generally offer much more detail about the farm’s  location and what they offer.

After much careful consultation with Karen and her husband during the build process, and by incorporating plenty of engaging images, the use of attractive fonts and illustrations and eye-catching colours, our client was very happy with the finished site. We were ready in good time for the launch of the new 2017 season and judging by the feedback, it has been a good year!
